Zelenskaya first told how she ran away from Kyiv with children

The first lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya gave a frank interview to Time, in which she first told how she ran away from active hostilities with children.

According to Zelenskaya, she did not manage to collect a disturbing suitcase in advance, so on the morning of February 24, in a hurry, she began to pack all the things. They were so scared with the children that they tried to collect all things as soon as possible and go to a safer place.

In addition, the first lady admitted that she left the house without a phone, as Russian troops tracked her calls and correspondence. Therefore, social networks were banned for their family.

Zelenskaya said that her husband went to the president’s office in the morning, and she, having collected all the things, headed for him to say goodbye. Vladimir Zelensky decided to stay in Kyiv, despite all the danger.

Zelenskaya herself with children also remained in Ukraine, but was forced to change cities in order to protect herself and her family. At the same time, she noted that she was offered to come to friends in Europe, but she refused.

Now the spouses are seized extremely rarely. The first three months of the war, they could not even talk normally on the phone.
