President Vladimir Zelensky made the dismissal of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, if it turns out that the defendants in the murder of the journalist Pavel Sheremet are pursued illegally. With this statement, Zelensky spoke at a press conference dedicated to the second anniversary of his stay as head of state.
“If the [suspected] was condemned, I will speak seriously with the minister. Can he stay in such a situation? No,” said the head of the Ukrainian state.
