It is reported that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky met in Rome by the special representative of the US President Donald Trump on Ukraine and Russia Keith Kelllog.
Zelensky, who is in the capital of Rome to participate in the Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine, which will begin on July 10 in Italy, reported on a meeting on the social network Telegram.
He noted that Kellogg will lead the US delegation at a conference that will begin his work tomorrow, Zelensky said that he had a meaningful meeting with Kelllog.
According to him, the parties discussed issues such as the purchase of American -made weapons and joint production of weapons.
“We discussed the supply of weapons and strengthening the air defense of Ukraine,” the president wrote.
Zelensky called for strengthening sanctions against Russian energy resources.
“We expect a corresponding decision in this direction from the US Congress. This is that it can make Russia think more about the world,” he said.
Having thanked the US President Trump, the American people and political parties for the support of Ukraine, Zelensky added: “We are sincerely grateful for the friendship between our peoples.”
