Special tasks that were set several days ago before the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy direction were fully implemented. He announced this by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday, June 30, after a meeting with the military command and Minister of Defense, Ukrainian media reports.
“Sumy region – this direction was discussed separately today. A week ago, special tasks were determined for our troops, specific borders. As of today, certain tasks have been fully implemented. This is important. The Russian plan in the Sumy region is not implemented, and this is the result of each Ukrainian unit that acts in the direction,” the words of Zelensky are given.

The President of Ukraine also stated that the Ukrainian military continues “active actions in the framework of the Kursk operation, the purpose of which has been achieved for almost 10 months.”
Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that in the Border of the Sumy Region, the Ukrainian military continues to keep the defense and prepare for counterattacks.
