Russian President Vladimir Putin may decide to attack the NATO member country in the next five years. Such a statement was made by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in an interview with the British television channel Sky News.
According to him, Moscow can take such a step to experience the strength of the North Atlantic Alliance.
“We believe that since 2030, Putin can have significantly great opportunities,” Zelensky said.
The president added that “Ukraine is now holding back Russia, but there may be new threats ahead.”
Commenting on the defense plans of NATO, according to which the expenses of the Bloc Member countries should grow up to 5% of GDP by 2035, he called them “very slow.”
The Ukrainian leader called on the West “Not hesitating”, saying that the Russian Federation “is already planning new military campaigns.” In any case, Putin needs a pause, he needs the abolition of sanctions, he needs a trained army. And 10 years is a very long time. By that time, he will have a new army, ”said the President of Ukraine.
