President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed the new commander in chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Alexander Syrsky.

He reported this in his official Telegram channel.

“From today, a new managerial team is being started to lead the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I want the vision of the war to be the same for our warriors in the worker or Avdeevka, and at the General Staff and at the Statement,” he said on the social network.

The president in his publication noted that he spent dozens of conversations with commanders of various levels, in particular with brigade generals Andrei Ignatov, Mikhail Drapaty, Igor Skibyuk and Colonel Pavel Palisa and Vadim Sukharevsky.

“All of them are considered to lead positions in the army and will serve under the leadership of the most experienced Ukrainian commander. He has a successful defense experience, has been able to defend the Kiev defensive operation. He also has a successful experience in the offensive of the Kharkov liberation operation. I appointed a colonel general Syrsky Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today he spoke with Generals Moisyuk and Zabrodsky.
