Over the past week, Russian Armed Forces made attacks on Ukrainian territory using more than 1800 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), over 1200 controlled bombs and 83 various types of missiles. This was the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in a telegram channel on Sunday, July 13.
The head of state emphasized that over the past seven days, the Russian army has significantly increased attacks on cities and settlements.
“Russia strengthens terror against civilians, trying to intimidate our people. However, despite Moscow plans, our air defense system demonstrates effectiveness and brings positive results,” the president said.

Zelensky noted that in order to successfully advance diplomatic efforts to stop the conflict, it is necessary to stop Russian attacks first of all.
The head of state also emphasized the importance of supporting the Allies to strengthen the air defense of Ukraine and expressed hope for the speedy implementation of all agreements aimed at strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.
