Zelensky compared Mariupol with Aleppo 11 years ago

“Russian troops 11 years ago began to destroy Aleppo – an ancient Syrian city with a rich history. Now they are also erased from the face of Ukrainian Mariupol.” This was stated by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in his speech at the 20th Dohhian Forum.

“Take a look at our Mariupol. This is what we have already seen in Aleppo. Ruins, pain, destruction of people,” said Zelensky.

According to him, a real catastrophe has come in Mariupol: there are no products, water, drugs. The Russian army is bombed around the clock around the clock and at the same time does not miss humanitarian assistance there.

“90% of all buildings in Mariupol are destroyed. Thousands of people died. But Russia did not receive any tangible punishment from the world for it,” said Zelensky.
