Zelensky does not believe that Russia will use nuclear weapons

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Bild said that he does not believe in the Kremlin’s threats about the use of nuclear weapons.

“I do not believe that Russia will use this weapon. I do not think that the world will allow it to use it,” he said.

Zelensky noted that the West should not succumb to such threats. “Tomorrow, Putin can say: besides Ukraine, we want another part of Poland, otherwise we will use nuclear weapons. We cannot go to these compromises,” Zelensky said.

According to Zelensky, he is not embarrassed by the Kremlin’s threats, Ukraine will continue to conquer its occupied territories: “I am sure that we will free our territory. Referendums are fictitious referendums, 90% of the states do not recognize them,” said the Ukrainian leader.

Commenting on the mobilization announced in Russia, Zelensky said that “Russia has problems with officers and other military personnel.” “We already know that they mobilized cadets, guys who did not know how to fight. These cadets fell. They could not even finish their education. All these people cannot fight. They come to us and die.”
