President Vladimir Zelensky sent to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev a congratulatory letter, reports AzerTaj.
“Your Excellency.
Please accept my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of Azerbaijan – the Republic Day.
Ukraine highly appreciates the strategic partnership between our states, the traditional strong links between the peoples of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, as well as the desired determination for the further development of bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
Our state always supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan as part of its internationally recognized borders. I am confident that every Azerbaijani supports your decisive leadership in the way of implementing this goal.
I believe that the relationship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan will be even more strengthened and enriched with new achievements for the benefit of the peoples of our states.
I hope that in August 2021, in the framework of the solemn celebration of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence, I will have the opportunity to welcome you in Kiev and continue our dialogue throughout the complex of issues of bilateral partnership.
