Zelensky: Mariupol tortured to death

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky made an appeal to Chatham House – the Royal Institute of International Relations, during which he spoke about the situation in Mariupol, saying that the city was “tortured to death.”

“This inhumanity and cruelty – this is how the Russian military relate to people. Death is not caused by war. This is not a military event. It is torture to death. This is terrorism and hatred,” Zelensky quotes MIGNEWS.

According to Zelensky, Mariupol is “an example of torture and hunger used as weapons of war.”

The head of the Ukrainian state emphasized that the country needs technology and weapons to break through the blockade of the Azovstal plant.
