President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed Anatoly Bargilevich to the post of commander of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This is stated in the decrees of the head of state of October 9.
Bargilevich will take the place of Igor Dancer, who was fired from this position.
According to Ukrainian media, Bargilevich was previously the initiator of the creation of the territorial defense department.
He held various positions, including the position of chief of operational department of the headquarters of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, commander of the territorial defense of the Command of the Ground Forces.
