Zelensky: Russian Navy is no longer able to operate in western part of Black Sea

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that the Russian navy is no longer able to operate in the western part of the Black Sea and “gradually leaves Crimea.”

“This is a historical achievement. Recently, the Russian leader was forced to declare the new base of the Black Sea Fleet in the occupied territory of Georgia. But we will get them everywhere,” Zelensky said, speaking through video communication at the second parliamentary summit of the Crimean platform.

Zelensky said that “Ukraine was able to return the role of the security artery to the Black Sea, on which global food stability depends.”

“First, together with the UN and Turkey, we were able to launch the Black Sea Grain initiative, then we added a humanitarian initiative” Grain from Ukraine “, launched new temporary export routes from our seaports,” said the Ukrainian leader.

He called on the participants in the parliamentary summit “To preserve and increase pressure on the invaders.”

“My appeal to you is simple – do not stop halfway. It is not easy to clean the Black Sea from the fleet of terrorists, but it is still much easier to clean the information environment from propaganda from Russia, which is still trying to undermine the democratic order,” Zelensky said.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to “all countries that are really ready to support Ukraine as much as necessary, and in the volume that leads to victory”.
