“Our border guards not only defend the state border, but also together with all the forces of the defense and security of Ukraine, our state and people in different directions of the front are protected,” the president wrote in Telegram on Tuesday.
The head of state expressed confidence that “there will be a time when Ukrainian border guards will work calmly in all areas of the sovereign state border of Ukraine.” “We are doing everything to bring this time closer,” Zelensky emphasized.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko congratulated the Ukrainian border guards on their professional day and announced the creation of the third combat brigade of the GARS State Border Service.
