Zelensky: Ukraine did not receive intelligence on invasion of Russia

Kyiv did not receive intelligence on the upcoming invasion of Russia. Despite the public warnings of Western officials, no one showed specific materials. The President of Ukraine made such a statement in an interview with Financial Times. Earlier it became known that the newspaper called the Ukrainian president a man of the year.

“No one showed us specific materials that this would be from one direction or another,” Zelensky said.

It is noted that Zelensky on the eve of the invasion of Ukraine has repeatedly tried to get through to Russian President Vladimir Putin, I wanted to say that it would be a “big mistake, a great tragedy”, but the Russian leader did not answer his calls.

“We are fighting against crazy people,” says Zelensky about the Russian leadership. He believes that Ukraine should free all its territories from Russian occupation, otherwise the war will simply resume later.
