Zelensky: Ukraine will decide how to return Crimea

“Ukraine will independently decide which way to return the Crimea, which Russia captured in 2014.” This was stated by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky at a press conference following the results of the Crimean platform summit.

He noted that Crimea is the territory of Ukraine, and the country will not consult with other states of the world about the ways of its return.

“And as for open attacks, Ukraine does not inflict any blows to civilian objects. We know what we are doing, we know where the military facilities. There, the Ukrainian military can work according to the plan,” he said.

According to him, the Ukrainian side no longer chooses which way to return the peninsula.

“We put an end to this issue … We showed that we want diplomacy … We tried to do this for 3 years, but you see what everything led to. There was a full -scale invasion,” Zelensky added.
