Zelensky’s office advises Georgia not to comment on war in Ukraine

Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak answered the chairman of the ruling party of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, advising him to stop commenting on the course of the war in Ukraine, reports News-Georgia.

We are talking about the statements of Kobahidze that Russia has an advantage on the Ukrainian front.

“Georgia should take a neutral position and try not to comment on the war, it would be very profitable for Georgia from a strategic point of view. And secondly, certainly do not show such an level of ignorance and say that Russia wins this war”, – said Podolyak in an interview with Voice of America.

He noted that the war has been going on for a year and Russia has not achieved significant success. Podolyak also said that he considers it pointless to maintain communication with the Georgian side, except at the diplomatic level.

At the same time, Podolyak again called on the official Tbilisi to show humanity and give the opportunity to undergo treatment abroad to the former President of Georgia, a citizen of Ukraine Mikhail Saakashvili.
