Azerbaijani President: In coming days, UN mission will visit Karabakh again

In the near future, the office of the UN resident coordinator in Azerbaijan, together with representatives of the relevant specialized structures of the organization, will again visit the territories in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, this was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting with the regional Director of the WHO Hannry Klyaiga.

He emphasized that Baku supports this process.

Regarding the situation in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev said that the so -called regime caused panic among the local population in Karabakh and forced him to move to Armenia.

The Head of State noted that with the creation of the Border and Part-Permanent Point “Lachin” on the state border, Azerbaijan supported the process of organizing medical evacuation through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that after the explosion at a gas station in Hankendi, Azerbaijani firefighters liquidated the fire, assisted the victims, and currently medical personnel of Azerbaijan provides services to the local population in Hangkendi.

He said that representatives of the State Migration Service, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the population provide local services, the process of registering the population began, a separate portal is valid for this. The President of Azerbaijan said that the relevant structures on the spot are serving to satisfy everyday needs and provide food.

The Head of State said that important infrastructure facilities, as well as monuments of history, religion and culture are protected by the police, and power supply is carried out. President Ilham Aliyev noted that all this is an indicator that the reintegration program of Armenian residents Karabakh is ready and implemented.

Hans Henry Klyge, in turn, noted that the trip of the mission, which included representatives of the office of the UN resident coordinator and the Baku Office of WHO, was highly appreciated to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.
