Erdogan is trying to convince Putin and Zelensky

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan intends to again propose mediation in negotiations between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced by a diplomatic source.

“In the coming year, President Erdogan intends to continue the efforts to resume the negotiation process to achieve a ceasefire,” he said and added that the Turkish president today will voice his proposal to the presidents of the two countries.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov confirmed that on January 4, negotiations of the Russian and Turkish presidents were planned. The representative of Erdogan, in turn, said that the leader of Turkey is counting on telephone negotiations with Putin and Zelensky on Wednesday.
