EU will not recognize Russian passports issued in Ukraine and Georgia

The Council of the European Union on Thursday decided to non -recognition of Russian travel documents issued in the occupied territories of Ukraine and Georgia, Ukrainian media reports.

According to the decision, Russian travel documents issued in the regions of Ukraine or separatist Abkhazia and South Ossetia, or to the persons who live there, will not be considered valid travel documents for a visa or crossing the boundaries of the Schengen zone.
