Today, at noon, the Hot line of the Ministry of Emergencies received information about the explosion in a multi-storey residential building located in the 4th microdistrict of the Nasiminsky district of Baku, the ministry said.
The corresponding forces of the state fire department and the rescue service of the Ministry of Emergencies were immediately involved in the scene of the incident.
During the assessment of the operational situation at the scene, it was found that an explosion that did not lead to a fire occurred as a result of a leak of household gas in a two -room apartment with a total area of 40 square meters located on the third floor of a five -story residential building. The window frames of the kitchen and balcony shifted from the impact of the explosive wave, the apartment was damaged. As a result of the incident, two people were injured, including a minor.
Corresponding security measures were taken on the spot by the Ministry of Emergencies.
