Türkiye has achieved significant success on the threshold of the new century. This was stated by the head of the Directorate of the Administration of the President of Turkey Fakhretin Altun, speaking on the discussion panel: “Great Vision of Turkey”, organized with the support of the Office.
“There is no doubt that the most important development in the field of Turkish industry is given to the national and domestic defense industry complex. Our main motto is a completely independent defense industry,” said Altun.
According to him, Turkey, thanks to its technical developments, provided the needs of security forces in the air, on land and at sea, diversified its arsenals with ammunition. At the same time, the republic became one in exporters selling millions of dollars, Altun noted.
In addition, Altun drew attention to the pride of the Turkish defense industry TCG Anadolu, the world’s first aircraft carrier, on the deck of which are placed shock UAVs.
“The Flagship of the Turkish Navy – TCG Anadolu aroused great interest among the public first in Istanbul, and then in Izmir,” said Altun.
According to him, the domestic defense industry complex will remain one of the main goals of Turkey in the next century and the ascending star of the republic.
Altun recalled the steps of Turkey taken to reduce dependence in the energy sector. “The detection of natural gas reserves in the Black Sea is one of the most important signs of strong and independent Turkey. As you know, Turkey in 2020 opened the largest natural gas deposit in its history in the Black Sea. The deposit, which will satisfy 30 percent of the country’s needs, was introduced into Operation less than three years after discovery, ”Altun outlined.
Further Altun attracted attention to the shown cooperation and cohesion of Turkey, which will contribute to the confrontation of the challenges that have to be faced at the regional and global levels.
“Victory in Karabakh is the most important indicator of this unity and cohesion,” Altun noted.
In addition, he pointed out the significance of the steps taken as part of the organization of the Turkic states (OTG).
The greatest support of Turkey during earthquakes with epicenters in Kazakhmanmarash was provided by fraternal countries of the Turkic world, Altun illuminated.
