France: on night of July 3, more than 150 participants in unrest were detained

During the riots in France on Monday night, 157 people were detained on July 3.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic, during clashes with participants in the riots, three police officers and gendarmes were injured.

The Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin wrote on Twitter that a fire was arranged on one of the underground parking lots in Saint-Denis, a large number of vehicles were injured.

Darmanin also expressed condolences to the family and relatives of the 24-year-old fire department who died during the fire extinguishing.

The reason for the mass unrest, continuing on June 27 in France, was the murder of the police of 17 -year -old Noel M. in Nanter – a suburbs to the west of Paris.

According to law enforcement officers, a teenager who was driving a car was stopped by a police patrol for violation of the rules and shot for disobedience to the law enforcement officers.
