Jeyhun Bayramov phoned head of Polish Foreign Ministry

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau had a telephone conversation on March 11.

According to the press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Jeyhun Bayramov informed his Polish counterpart about the current situation in the region, issues related to the implementation of trilateral statements of November 10, 2020 and January 11, 2021, as well as the work done by our country in this direction. The Azerbaijani minister drew attention to the fact that the liberated territories are densely mined, and this poses a direct threat to people’s lives every day, but Armenia still refuses to provide maps of minefields.

Polish Minister Zbigniew Rau stressed the importance of fulfilling trilateral statements, normalizing relations between the two countries and strengthening the role of international organizations in this regard.

The ministers also exchanged views on various issues of bilateral cooperation, including with regard to the successful continuation of the political dialogue, the expansion of economic cooperation, the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission in this area and the implementation of mutual high-level visits, including on the parliamentary line.
