King of Jordan sent congratulatory telegram to Erdogan

King of Jordan Abdullah II congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on a re -election to the post of head of state.

According to the monarch’s office, Abdullah II sent a congratulatory telegram to the Turkish leader, in which he emphasized “determination to strengthen bilateral relations that will serve as the interests of the two countries and peoples, and also contribute to the development of regional and international world and prosperity”.

The Jordan king wished Erdogan success, and the Turkish people – development and prosperity.

The chairman of the Supreme Electoral Council of Turkey Akhmet Jener announced that the winner of the second round of the presidential elections, following the results of the calculation of the vast majority of ballots, is the current head of state Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to him, according to the results of the counting of 99.43% of the ballots, Recep Tayyip Erdogan scored 52.14% of the vote, and Kemal Kylychdaroglu – 47.86%.
