Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan agreed on another 10.7 km of state border

Representatives of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan agreed on a section of the state border with a length of 10.7 kilometers.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz government, from March 12 to 17, the next meeting of topographic workers and working groups for legal delegations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan on Delimitation of the Kyrgyz State Border took place in the Buston of the Sogdian region of Tajikistan. .

Topographic working groups agreed on 10.7 km of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, the statement said.

The parties will continue to work on the description of the remaining sites at the next meeting, which will be held in Kyrgyzstan.

The length of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is about 970 kilometers, 503 of which were controversial.
