Latvia does not want to see “rain” in country

The Russian opposition television channel, which broadcasts from Latvia, fired the host Alexei Korostelev, who announced the “help of Russian soldiers with elementary amenities,” Russian media reported. Korostelev was accused of supporting the Russian army.

Despite Korostelev’s statement that he agreed, as well as the apology of the rain employees, the channel will have to pay a fine of 10 thousand euros, and the head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense, Artis Pabriks said that Rain should leave the country.

Following this, the channel was left by the journalist Margarita Lyutov. On her Facebook page, she admitted that the Russian media has lost its basic principles, which include humanism, openness and honesty. After that, journalist Vladimir Romensky quit the channel.
