The Azerbaijan Ministry of Health conducts training for psychiatrists providing medical services to war veterans.
at the trainings organized for medical specialists in the Center for Public Health and Reforms of the Ministry of Health, psychologists and psychiatrists of the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the State Agency of Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, and the Association for Management of Management, participate Medical territorial divisions (Təbib), the Republican Psychiatric Hospital, the Center for Mental Health, as well as the city and district psychiatric hospitals and neuropsychiatric dispensaries.
Trainings are conducted by a professor of educational and research hospital Gulkhan, a teacher at the Department of Psychiatry of Ankarin University (Turkey) Bulent Akchay.
During a 7-day seminar-training, a Turkish specialist will share with Azerbaijani specialists his knowledge and experience on the basics of military psychiatry, methods of treatment in psychiatry, concepts of mental trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.
