Norway will sharply increase oil production

The Norwegian oil company Equinor announced the transition to the production of oil in the second phase of the development of the giant deposit “Johan Sverdrupe”, which will sharply increase production at the largest project in Europe, writes Moscow Times.

The field can provide 6-7% of the daily demand in Europe, the company said.

The volume of oil production on “Johan Sverdrupe” after the launch of the second phase will be an average of 720,000 barrels of oil per day, it is planned to increase it to 755,000 barrels per day, according to Equinor.
