President Erdogan honored memory of heroes of battle of Chanackale

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made an appeal on the occasion of the days of memory of fallen heroes and the anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Chanaccal.

The president noted that Chanackale “personifies not only the eternal and indestructible unity of the Turkish people, but also reflects the common fate of the region.”

“Celebrating the 109th anniversary of the Victory under Chanackale, I, with mercy and gratitude of the memory of all our heroes, led by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Let their souls rest with the world, and their abode will be paradise,” concluded President Erdogan.

In Turkey on Monday, March 18, the 109th anniversary of the Victory in the Battle of Chanackal, one of the largest and bloody battles of the First World War, is celebrated.
