President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met at Iftar with military personnel of the 4th Corps Command in Ankara.
The Turkish President made a speech in which he noted a special place in the Turkish armed forces.
The head of the Turkish state said that the presence of a strong army for us is not just a choice, but an obligation.
“Our country should always maintain combat readiness at the highest level,” he said.
Having emphasized the importance of ensuring the security of the country’s borders, President Erdogan said that this summer the security of the border with Iraq will be fully ensured. According to him, at the same time, an unfinished business in Syria will certainly end.
“Our goal is to convey to our descendants Turkey, completely free from the gloomy shadow of terrorism,” the president emphasized.
