President Vladimir Putin said that against the backdrop of the desire of Polish nationalists to “take” the Western Ukrainian territories the only real guarantor of the territorial integrity of Ukraine could be Russia.
“Nationalist elements in Poland are sleeping and seeing to pick up the western territories that Ukraine received thanks to the decisions of Stalin after the Second World War – to this will be conducted, the only real guarantor of the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its current boundaries could be Russia”, – The Russian media cite the words of Putin.
“Well, this is already the work of the Ukrainian politicians themselves … The future, of course, is, the current politicians, in my opinion, do not understand much about it and do not think about it, although some, as it seems to us, already begin to think”, – believes the President of the Russian Federation.
