Turkish Air Force aircraft are involved in ensuring safety of NATO summit

Turkish Air Force aircraft involved in ensuring the safety of the participants of the NATO summit in Vilnius.

According to the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey, in order to ensure the security of the event in Lithuania, two Turkish Air Force aircraft-the Early Warning Air Force and the KC-135R-Duhing Airman.

Aircraft, thrown to the Gelsenkirchen base in Germany, will perform observation flights and refueling tasks in accordance with the instructions of the NATO command until the end of the events.

At the NATO summit, Turkey is represented by a delegation, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which includes the head of the Ministry of Defense Yashar Guler, the head of the Foreign Ministry Hakan Fidan, the head of intelligence Ibrahim Kalyn and the head of the Fachertin Altun Relations Department.
