Turkish exports in June approached $ 21 billion

Turkey exports in June decreased in annual calculus by 10.5 percent and amounted to 20 billion 904 million dollars. Import, in turn, decreased by 17.5 percent to 26 billion 64 million dollars.

This is evidenced by the data of the Institute of Statistics of Turkey.

Foreign trade deficiency decreased by 37.3 percent to 5 billion 160 million dollars.

The ratio of export to import in June amounted to 80.2 percent, while in 2022 it amounted to 73.9 percent.

In January-June, Turkey exports decreased by 1.9 percent to 123 billion 341 million dollars. Import in the indicated period decreased by 4.1 percent to 184 billion $ 576 million.

A deficiency of foreign trade in the first half of the year increased by 18.7 percent to 61 billion 2,35 million dollars. The ratio of export to import was 66.8 percent.

The main importer of goods from Turkey in June became Germany – 1 billion 784 million dollars. The second place is occupied by the United States – 1 billion 331 million dollars. The UK is followed – 1 billion 65 million, Italy – 1 billion 12 million, and Iraq – $ 986 million.

In January -June, Germany also became the leader among importers – 10 billion 707 million dollars. The second place was taken by the United States – 7 billion 387 million, the third Italy – 6 billion 163 million dollars.
