The founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates donated $ 20 billion to the Melinda Charity Fund. A message about this appeared on the Bloomberg website. This amount is the largest one -time donation of a billionaire and is a fifth of its entire condition.
According to the publication, Gates sacrificed such a huge amount so that humanity had more chances to answer a certain “great crisis of our time.”
“I hope that, sacrificing more, we will be able to reduce the suffering of some people whom they are facing right now, we can get closer to achieving the main goal of the fund – to give everyone in need of a healthy life,” Bloomberg quotes a billionaire quoted.
