Iraq: Baghdad will not allow terrorist attacks against Turkey

Military representative of Iraq Prime Minister General Yahya Rasul announced a possible signing of a security agreement with Turkey. The Iraqi general reported this in an interview with Anadola, commenting on the issue of a possible signing of the security agreement between Turkey and Iraq.

“We have good relations with the neighboring Muslim country in Turkey. A very good interaction with Turkey in the political and economic spheres has also been established,” he said.

According to the military representative, the Iraq and Iraqi diplomacy Ministry of Foreign Affairs are able to achieve positive and great results with Turkey on the issue of achievement (security agreement), as in the case of Iran.

Iraq will not allow steps that provoke escalation against Turkey and the Turkish army, Rasul emphasized.
