The number of aircraft that took off and landing at Turkey airports in June of this year reached 76,996 on internal lines and 83,025 on international ones. The airspace of Turkey for transit purposes in the same period used 201 332 aircraft.
Compared to the same month of last year, the growth of internal air transportation amounted to 4.2 percent, and international – 15.4 percent. In general, the volume of air transportation, including for transit purposes, increased by 12.6 percent.
Passenger flow on internal sheds in June amounted to 8 million 507 thousand 530, and on international – 12 million 473 thousand 34, in general, 21 million 265 people.
At the same time, the number of aircraft took off and landing at Istanbul airport in June reached 44,705, including 12,445 on internal lines and 32,260 on international.
