South Africa President arrived in Ukraine

President of the South African Republic, Siril Ramafos, arrived in Ukraine as part of participation in the African “Peacemaker Mission”.

“President of Syrficha Ramafosa arrived at the Nemeshaevo railway station in Ukraine and was adopted by the special representative of Ukraine on Africa and the Middle East by the ambassador Maxim Subh and the Ambassador of South Africa to Ukraine Andre Grenevald,” Interfax -Ukraine reports.

Earlier on the leader’s website it was reported that the president of Ramafos is heading to the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv for negotiations – as a member of the African “peacekeeping mission” – with President Vladimir Zelensky.

The mission includes leaders of South Africa, Zambia, Comorian Islands, Congo-Brazzavil, Egypt, Senegal and Uganda.

On Friday, June 16, the President of Ramafos will leave Kyiv and go to St. Petersburg, where the African delegation will meet with the President of the Russian Federation on Saturday, June 17. President Ramafos must return home on Sunday, June 18.
