Akar on grain removal from Ukraine

“Starting from August 1, more than 650 thousand tons of grain was taken from three ports of Ukraine as part of a product transaction.” This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey, Hulushi Akar at a press conference with the UN Secretary General Antoniu Gutherrish.

He noted that Turkey expects an increase in the export of agricultural products. According to the minister, Ankara hopes that the grain transaction will help to resolve the situation in the country.

“An important component of the work is the fact that there is not a single military structure in the field. Turkey expects that the implementation of Istanbul agreements will create the basis for a stable world and resolving the conflict,” added Akar.
