US Embassy in Azerbaijan on October 4 signed two memorandums about mutual understanding – with the Lenkran State University and the Shake branch of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
According to the agreements, the inhabitants of Sheki and Lankarani will be developed by the English language training programs, practical classes are organized, and opportunities have been created to study the history and culture of the United States, the opportunities of education in this country, writes the agnetion of Turan.
US Ambassador Earl Litzmenberger said that the memorandums provide for the opening of American centers in Sheki and Lankarani. Thus, the total number of such centers in Azerbaijan will increase to six.
Agency reminds that the first American center in Baku was opened in 2007 in the Azerbaijan State University of Languages. Similar centers were also discovered in Ganja, Khachmaz, Salyana and Kurdamir.
