Conducting the World Cup in the shooting Cup caused a surge in interest in this sport among adolescents and youth. Although Azerbaijani television channels broadcast the competitions that started on May 29 on the air, representatives of various age and social groups visited the Baku Rifle Center to personally observe the finals.
On the last day of the competition, the center was visited by students of full secondary school No. 217 named after Elshan Sultanov from the village of Solutepe Binagadinsky district. A trip of adolescents was organized by physical education teacher Emin Bayramov and a military training teacher Rashid Akhmedov. According to teachers, they arranged a trip to increase children’s interest in this sport.
Schoolchildren watched command competitions among men at high -speed shooting from a pistol with 25 meters. They also watched the award ceremony, after which they photographed with the winners.
Note that in today’s competitions the best among men’s teams in high -speed shooting from a pistol from 25 meters became Koreans. Their medal was the fifth golden award in the piggy bank of young Korea at this World Cup.
In the discipline, circular bench shooting among mixed teams, the US team took first place in terms of the number of awards of the highest test (4 gold) ahead of the France team.
The Ukrainian team today won another silver medal, thus bringing the total number of awards of its country to 9 and becoming a leader in the number of medals among the participants in the World Cup.
