CNN television company showed new personnel with the ex -president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili, as the host of the program put it – the “main critic of Putin.” The video was shot by surveillance cameras installed in the ward in the Vivamed Clinic in Tbilisi, where he is undergoing treatment, writes SOVA.
The TV presenter warned the audience that the personnel could be difficult for them. On the air, they also showed a video from one of the court hearings, when Saakashvili, on the video clinic, raised his T -shirt to demonstrate his condition to the assembled. In parallel on the screen, the frames of 2020 appeared, on which Saakashvili – until his return to his homeland and arrest.
In the studio CNN was the American lawyer Saakashvili Massimo d’anjelo. The lawyer spoke about the critical state of health of the ex-president of Georgia, emphasizing that “it continues to deteriorate rapidly.” D’anjelo recalled that the politician took samples of hair, nails and body tissues, having studied which, one of the laboratories in the USA concluded that in the Saakashvili body – an increased content of heavy metals, in particular, mercury and arsenic.
The lawyer also recalled that many Western leaders addressed the ex-president with an appeal to release the ex-president and send him for treatment abroad. In addition, 27 countries of Europe expressed solidarity with Saakashvili, achieving his liberation, added d’Andjelo.
According to the lawyer, the efforts accepted by the United States to save Saakashvili are not enough.
On February 6, the judge of the Tbilisi City Court Georgy Arevadze did not satisfy the petition of the lawyers Mikhail Saakashvili to postpone the sentence or release him from punishment due to health reasons. On the eve of Saakashvili turned to the apparatus of the People’s Defender of Georgia with a request to send an independent medical consultation to him. He stated that in recent days he began to feel much worse.
