The occupation of Armenia of Azerbaijani territories (Karabakh and East Zangesura) caused damage in the amount of 16.2 billion manat. These figures were announced at a joint briefing of the Prosecutor General and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the topic of crimes committed by the armed forces of Armenia and illegal Armenian armed groups against Azerbaijan from 1988 to the present.
It was noted that such damage was caused as a result of the illegal use of mineral resources, as well as environmental terror in Karabakh and East Zangesure.
In addition, the briefing was reported, 6 companies carried out illegal economic activity in the occupied territories, causing Azerbaijan damage in the amount of 306.8 million manat.
It was also noted that the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan put on the wanted list 19 persons, and also sent legal orders to 35 countries in relation to 166 legal entities in connection with illegal economic activity in the occupied territories and illegal visits there.
