Erdogan: “Cereal Corridor” should work

Turkey has established contacts for the supply of agricultural products for the “grain corridor” both with Ukraine and Russia, reports “Anadola”. We are talking about agricultural products and fertilizers. Turkey takes all its actions following close consultations with the parties, whether at the Foreign Ministry or other departments. Thanks to this practice, we managed to avoid serious problems in the implementation of the agreements.

This was stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with reporters.

According to him, the topic of the product transaction was comprehensively discussed at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Erdogan emphasized that the “grain corridor” should work for the good of not only developed, but also poorly developed states. “We spoke out for this corridor to bring the good and underdeveloped countries. Of course, President Putin also focused on this issue. In the future, we will carefully monitor the supply process so that the corridor brings maximum benefits to poorly developed countries,” assured him President.

“During the meeting with Mr. Putin, we agreed to continue the process of supplying agricultural products with the same vigilance,” said the Turkish leader.
