Iran’s Ambassador to Yemen Hozein Irloow, evacuated from the country due to health problems, died due to complications caused by coronavirus. This was announced by the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Said Khatibzade.

“Irloou was infected with Coronavirus during his travel and due to late cooperation of some countries, unfortunately, returned to the country in a deplorable state,” – quotes his press service of the department.

According to the Iranian diplomat, “despite the fact that all measures have been taken for his treatment, this morning he died.”

On Sunday, Iranian media reported that Iran’s Ambassador to Yemen, who performed the diplomacy in the controlled Husitis of the city of Sana, was evacuated from the country with the consent of Saudi Arabia. The Saudi Foreign Ministry pointed out that “Riyadh’s consent to his departure was given through the mediation of Iraq and Oman.”
