Georgia: an agreement with opposition to exit crisis was canceled

The ruling party of Georgia “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” refused to comply with the agreement on the exit from the crisis, which was signed between it and representatives of opposition parties through the mediation of the European Union and the United States. This was stated by the Chairman of the Political Force Irakli Kobahidze, reports “Sputnik near abroad.”

According to him, the document did not show its effectiveness, which was confirmed by the latest protests of opposition deputies and journalists. The deputy added that the cancellation of the agreement will allow the country to establish political processes in accordance with the constitutional order.

At the same time, the batch did not completely refuse to conduct early parliamentary elections. “We are ready for a goodwill to appoint extraordinary elections, if we see the behavior of opposition political parties in the behavior, that our political system matured for coalition board and such a regime of the Board will not harm the state,” said Kobahidze.

The political agreement between the ruling “Georgian dream” and part of the opposition through the mediation of the head of the European Council of Charles Michel was signed on April 19.
