In Turkey today marks the 107th anniversary of the battle in Sarykamyshe. In the battle of Sarykamyshe (December 1914 – January 1915), during the First World War, the troops of the Ottoman state and part of the Russian army participated. Ottoman troops sought to dismiss the occupation of the captured territories of the country. Up to 90 thousand Turkish military died in the battle, most of which froze in a cold winter.
