Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was accepted by the deputy assistant to the US Secretary of State in the Bureau of European and Eurasia of the State Department Joshua Khak. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
At the meeting, an exchange of views on ensuring peace and stability in the region, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan took place.
Aliyev once again expressed the intention of Azerbaijan, related to the regional peaceful agenda, the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a continuation of negotiations on a peaceful agreement and its speedy signing.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues representing mutual interest.
