The Ministry of Health met with a visit to Azerbaijan by the Russian delegation, headed by the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Blessing (Rospotrebnadzor) Anna Popova.
The Minister of Health of Azerbaijan, Taymur Musaev, who performed at the meeting, noted fruitful cooperation between the countries in the field of health and medical science. It was emphasized that the Russian epidemiological school celebrating this year, the experience and professional traditions of which have been formed for decades, occupies one of the leading places in the world.
Touching the issue of pandemia Covid-19, Teimur Musaev emphasized that the valuable recommendations of Russian experts made their contribution to the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in Azerbaijan.
At the end, the Minister of Health of Azerbaijan expressed hope for the further dynamic development of bilateral relations.
Having expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and high hospitality, the head of Rospotrebnadzor provided detailed information about the activities of the public service that combines the functions of several ministries and departments of Russia at once. Anna Popova expressed interest in raising the Rospotrebnadzor cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan to a higher level.
During the meeting, held in the spirit of constructive dialogue and mutual understanding, it was emphasized that agreements “On cooperation on ensuring epidemiological well-being on plague on the territory of border natural foci” and “Cooperation in the implementation of international medical rules (2005 .) “, signed today between the Ministry of Health of the Azerbaijan Republic and the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, will play an important role in the development of intersectoral cooperation between our countries.
