“The final interpretation of the decision announced by Putin is not yet. The European Commission is studying measures and various explanatory aspects. At the moment, payment is possible in euros and rubles. Italy will adhere to the lines agreed at the European level,” said the leadership of the Council.
As noted, the issue of payment of Russian gas will be raised during a telephone conversation of the Prime Minister of Italy and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
